The Gledhill Heat Pump Duo hot water cylinder has been specifically designed to work with air and ground source heat pumps, providing energy-efficient hot water for your home.
Additionally, it can be installed to utilise solar energy, further maximising the cylinder’s energy efficiency and helping to reduce energy bills. The hot water cylinder comes with a 25-year warranty on the tank.
It is equipped with a specifically designed coil to provide highly efficient hot water using energy from both heat pumps and solar panels, ensuring a suitable and cost-effective hot water solution from your home.

Description
Gledhill has produced an unvented stainless steel unit specifically designed for heat pump and solar applications, providing mains pressure domestic hot water. Based on the well-established Gledhill StainlessLite Plus unvented hot water cylinder, this product has been developed to maximise the efficiency of heat pumps operating at lower temperatures.
The heat exchanger is a completely new design, optimised to enhance heat transfer performance at these lower temperatures.
Since many heat pumps are unable to raise stored water temperatures to 60°C - the level required to prevent the growth of Legionella bacteria – the StainlessLite Plus Heat Pump model includes an immersion heater tapping and a thermostat pocket.
It is recommended to install a thermostat that activates the immersion heater just below the heat pump maximum and switches off at 60 - 65°C. This setup minimises the use of direct electricity, ensuring that the majority of the water heating is handled by the heat pump.
